Shipping options:
Delivery is by Australia Post, parcel post or Express Post. Mellte cannot accept responsibility for deliveries that do not require a signature upon receipt. Australia Post parcel post and Express post do not require a signature and therefore Mellte does not accept responsibility in the unlikely event of non delivery of the parcel.
Refunds / Returns:
You are entitled to a refund or exchange or credit only if the goods you have bought are faulty. Please choose carefully - we are unable to accept returns or refunds if you change your mind.
Omero hosiery has been manufactured and packaged in Italy with the highest quality processes for over 10 years. We have never had a pair with any manufacturing defect. Please remember that it is always recommended that you wear cotton gloves whilst putting on your stockings to avoid snags and tears. We will not refund your purchase if you damage the product or the packaging. We will not refund your purchase if the product has been in contact with the skin, or has been worn in whole or in part. In the unlikely event you find there is a manufacturing fault with the product, in the first instance you should contact us within 7 days via email to info@mellte.com to tell us about the issue. We will only consider a refund if the product can be returned in the original packaging with proof of purchase. We will not refund the cost of the original delivery or return delivery.
Products are delivered in a shipping box so that your new stockings are protected during transit to you. Whilst we cannot be held liable for any damage to products or their packaging caused by postal or freight carriers during transit, if you do receive product or packaging that has been damaged during transit we want to hear about it!
Site Security:
We protect the security of your information during transmission over the internet by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you enter. Your payment and order details are sent to us across a secure connection that uses an up-to-date 256bit security certificate. This means that the information is encrypted and cannot be read by anyone other than ourselves. You can see the pages are secure because the address in the address bar changes from ‘http://…’ to ‘https://…’ (‘s’ for ‘secure’!). You will also see a padlock symbol or key in the bottom bar of your browser, indicating the information you send is only able to be read by us for processing your order.
To Unsubscribe:
If you no longer wish to receive our occassional newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time. Simply unselect the tick box in your account page or contact us at info@mellte.com. If you have replied to a newsletter asking us to stop sending e-mails, and this has not happened, it may be because the e-mail address to which we are sending the e-mails is not the same as the address from which you sent the request from. Please check the address we are using and include this information in your request.
Privacy Policy:
The information we receive from our customers helps us to continually improve your shopping experience. Information you enter into the Omero website (such as name and address) is stored by us in an encrypted database within a high security telco-grade data centre in Sydney, Australia. We use the information you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests and processing your order, as well as improving the Omero site. We also receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. The Omero website uses cookies to personalise your visit and improve your shopping experience. For example, a cookie is used on your PC to remember the contents of the shopping basket during each visit that you make to the website. Mellte Pty Ltd, the operator of the Omero website in Australia and New Zealand, will not provide any of your contact details to any third party. We hate spam too!
Payment:
We accept payment by PayPal, Visa or MasterCard via our secure, encrypted webstore environment. Please note that your order will appear on your credit card statement as being charged by Mellte Pty Ltd trading as 'Omero-Mellte'.
